South Australia State Manager

Grant Hawksworth is State Manager of Dimension Data Australia’s South Australia office. Principle responsibilities as State Manager include: commercial management of the branch, leadership for the local go-to-market strategy, involvement with national planning and implementation strategy, and establishing and maintaining branch-based partner and vendor relationships. Grant also has responsibility for revenue forecasting and meeting financial targets in the South Australian market. Grant brings extensive ICT and people management skills to his role as State Manager. People and culture feature very high in Grant’s priorities which has delivered exceptional staff engagement results and very high staff retention over a sustained period.

BACKGROUND

Grant’s major achievements include managing the transition of the Dimension Data business from distributor to integrator in South Australia, and integrating Datacraft Australia into the business when it was acquired in 1997. In 2005, Grant secured a six-year outsourcing contract with the State Government of South Australia to provide Managed Network Services. Over the next four years, Grant successful oversaw growth in the South Australian branch, with headcount increasing from 20 to 90 staff during that period..
