Rob Kennett, Partner, Dispute Resolution & IP & IT

Rob Kennett obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Adelaide in 1980. He joined Kelly & Co. in 1981 and became a partner of the firm in 1984. Rob is a specialist in intellectual property, technology and corporate law. He also has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution and is a trained negotiator and qualified mediator. In 20 years' experience as a lawyer in these fields, Rob has acted for a wide variety of corporate and individual clients including listed public companies, newspapers, television and radio stations, IT and e-commerce start-ups, Government and a host of smaller and innovative IT and technology companies.

Rob has a long history of industry involvement in industry associations and groups encouraging the development of the electronics, IT and biotech industries in South Australia. Rob was a founding Board Member of the South Australian Electronics Industry Association.
