Dylan Pinkard Back to Graduate Career Profiles
Dylan, age 25, currently works for REDARC Electronics. REDARC design and manufacture voltage conversion systems for the trucking industry, as well as various electronic equipment for the camping, off-road, mining and defence industries.
Dylan’s role at REDARC is to provide technical assistance as well as make and receive sales calls over the phone. He also attends trade and information nights to promote the REDARC brand to customer groups e.g. 4WD clubs.
Dylan was offered a position at REDARC 2 years ago after sending a resume via email. He was hired as a factory technician but soon after was asked to help with special products and engineering prototypes. At the end of last year he was asked to join the customer service/technical support team.
Dylan undertook an apprenticeship in Electronics Engineering, for which he achieved not only his Trade Certificate, but a Diploma in Electronics Engineering. Dylan completed this study in 3 years.
Dylan attended Cabra Dominican College in SA and graduated in 2000 with the following subjects:
