Ha Do Back to Graduate Career Profiles
Ha Do’s, age 28, days in ASC are spent working as a Project Coordinator within Program Engineering on the upgrades for the Collins Class Submarines. She works with a multidisciplined teams of engineers in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Acoustic, Structural, Detailed Design, ILS, Legal, Finance and Configuration Management. In the past Ha has worked as a Systems Engineer on the Replacement Combat System. This was an exciting project as the company had to rapidly work through the conceptual to detailed design process in a relatively short time duration to meet the customer's needs. She is currently seconded to ASC's customer the Commonwealth (CoA) to support them, and will return back to ASC to continue progressing her career within Project Management.
In 2007 Ha received the SA Young Professional Engineer of the Year. She volunteers for Engineers Australia as the Chair for Women in Engineering and Co-Chairs the International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES15 2011) organising committee.
Ha Do graduated in 2003 in a double degree of Electronic/ Microengineering (Hons) and Commerce.
