Then here's your perfect opportunity to take advantage of a free service from our 'Preferred Supplier' Madderns 

The Technology Industry Association in conjunction with Madderns Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys, is pleased to provide a special free service to its members to allow up to 1 hour free initial informal consultation regarding your Intellectual Property (IP) matters. You may discuss or ask questions regarding patents, trade marks, designs, searching or other related issues. 

You will be able to speak to a Patent Attorney from Madderns' Electronics and ICT group, who will be able to discuss your IP matters and discuss the various options available to you. All discussions will of course remain totally confidential. The sessions will be held in TIA's boardroom at 7 Glen Osmond Road, Eastwood. 

Any further work in relation to your matter may then be pursued directly with Madderns or your own patent attorneys under their usual terms. 

The sessions will generally be held on a nominated Thursday of each month between 10am and 2pm. If you would like more information or to book your session, please contact David Turner (Membership Services Manager) at TIA on 8272 5222 or  at david.turner@tia.asn.au at least a week in advance.

In order for Madderns to prepare for your consultation, we ask you to provide a brief description of the nature of your matter so that the attorney with the appropriate technical background may attend and to clear any conflict of interest issues prior to the meeting.  Please click here to download the IP Background Form. Once you have booked your time, please complete the form and email to david.turner@tia.asn.au or if you prefer send to Madderns at ip.eicta@madderns.com.au. Please be assured details provided will be handled in the strictest confidence and will only be used for the purposes of the consultation. 

If in the event Madderns identify any conflict, you will be advised accordingly, however they may still be able to provide a general discussion about the options or answer questions of a general nature. 

Please note that the service only provides for one session per matter. 

This one hour service is offered FREE to TIA Members on an ongoing basis as part of Madderns Preferred Supplier status.

After the success of last year’s event the Technology Industry Association again invites you to an evening of fun and lawn bowls. Network with industry colleagues and enjoy an introduction to the absorbing game of lawn bowls. 

• Haven't played before ? No problem - coaching and bowls are provided.
• Teams of 4 will be formed on the night
• Enter a team, or any number from your workplace
• It will be an enthusiastic and mildly competitive event.
• Spot prizes will be awarded through the evening. 

A BBQ is included, and the bar will be open for the purchase of drinks at Club prices.

Only flat soled shoes (and bare feet) are permitted.
