SEMINAR TO REVIEW THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN WORKERS REHABILITATION AND COMPENSATION SCHEME

The Registered Employers Group (REG) was incorporated in 1990. REG is recognised by WorkCover as an employer stakeholder.

REG provides a forum for all WorkCover registered companies ranging from small to large business interests to come together to discuss topical aspects of the the Workers Compensation systems. These discussions result in a shared understanding of issues and concerns facing successful businesses in South Australia. We are on record as having already made significant representations on issues such as levy structure, secondary disabilities and WorkCover review mechanisms.

In recent years WorkCover have introduced a single legal firm and a single Agency agreement. The business community were promised significant savings would be recognised within 12 months and that the savings would be passed on to employers. EICTA in conjunction with member company Gallagher Bassett cordially invites interested parties to a seminar to be held on Thursday, 30 April, 2009 at 8.00am in the Theatrette, Ground Floor, 55 Currie Street, Adelaide to discuss the above issues as well as recent amendments including:
