EVENT DETAILS

 TIA / Mutual Community Trophy

A fun day for Members and Industry Representaives to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the picturesque Blackwood Golf Course with friends and colleagues playing for the TIA / Mutual Community Trophy.

The competition on the day is a 18 hole Ambrose played in teams of four. The basics of play simply involve all players to play their shot and then selecting the preferred shot, all hit from that position and so on until the hole is complete. The Handicap system for an Ambrose is calculated by adding all four players individual handicaps to get a total and then dividing by 8 to set a team (group) handicap. For example; if a group has a 27 + 25 + 12 + 4, the total equals 68, then divide by 8 gives a handicap of 8.5. The winner on the day will be the team with the lowest score once the team handicap is taken off the total strokes for the 18 holes.

Those who have entered as teams can nominate to play as their company group or choose to be allocated individually by the TIA match committee. Individuals registered will be allocated a team. For those who do not have an official handicap, a maximum of 27 for men and 36 for women will be allocated.

Timing:

• Arrive at 12.00 noon to enjoy a pre-game lunch time sausage sizzle and opportunity to network amongst other members.
• 12.45pm make way to allocated tee.
• 1.00pm Start
• Approximately 5.00 - 5.30pm finish
• 5.30pm drinks and nibbles followed by presentation of prizes.
• Conclude approximately 6.30pm

Golf Clubs, Buggies and accessories available for hire on the day from the clubhouse at own expense. However, to assist with the organisation, please indicate if you need to hire a set of clubs when registering.
