Redarc Electronics has 30 years experience in the research, design, development and manufacture of a range of electronic voltage converters and associated products including inverters, power supplies, battery chargers, CAN-Bus modules, turbo timers, glow plug timers, trailer braking products and customised electronic modules. Essentially, Redarc products are attached to any moving vehicle that uses battery power, (cars, boats, rail, trucks, mining equipment, bus and emergency vehicles etc).

The market segments are divided into original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and after-market sales to the wholesale sector.

In late 2007, Redarc implemented a major process improvement project with the construction of a new $5 million innovation centre in Lonsdale South Australia. Installing the latest state-of-the-art technology coupled with the implementation of a new lean manufacturing provides Redarc with the capacity to further develop export markets. Redarc also invested heavily into new lead free technology that not only benefits the environment but results in higher quality products.

A new generation pick and place machine allows exceptional placement accuracy of surface mount components. Additionally, Redarc is using the latest vapour phase technology to reflow printed circuit boards. This efficient, low energy process has the added advantage of precise temperature control, ensuring that components are not subjected to damaging, high peak temperatures. Redarc also procured a selective solder machine that automatically solders through-hole components. All these improvements have lead to higher quality products, making them even more reliable and safer for the environment. This new investment has ensured that Redarc is one of the most advanced, environmentally friendly electronics manufacturers in Australia.

From 2001 to 2004 BRW listed REDARC in the top 100 fastest growing companies in Australia. In 2004 Deloitte listed Redarc in the Technology Fast 50 as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Australia. In 2005 REDARC was a National Finalist in the Telstra Small Business Awards and in 2008 Redarc won awards for Innovation in Sustainability and the Electronics and ICT industry award for Environmental Sustainability.

ARB - The new one stop shop for REDARC 4X4 accessories REDARC Electronics has appointed ARB Corporation Ltd, Australia's largest manufacturer and distributor of 4X4 equipment, to bring the complete range of REDARC 4X4 accessories to the market.
