Broadband will benefit Australians, says Optus


The head of Australia's second biggest telecommunications provider, Optus, says the Federal Government's national broadband network (NBN) should be built without delay. Optus Chief Executive Paul O'Sullivan yesterday said the new network would be commercially viable and offered "extensive" benefits for Australia. He also reaffirmed his company's intention to invest in NBN.
